About Syberia 2

Kate's journey continues through four distinct locations. Romansbourg's snowy streets. The icy tundra of Syberia. Each area is packed with puzzles and characters. Over 25 humans and 10 animals to meet. Not all of them are friendly. Some are just weird.

I died. A lot. Well, not literally – Kate doesn't die, but I got stuck on puzzles for hours. Sometimes you just stand there and stare at a clockwork contraption, wondering what goes where. Then it clicks. And it feels great.

The graphics hold up surprisingly well. Dynamic shadows. Animated snow. Benoit Sokal's art style is unmistakable – every screen looks like a painting. Available in English, French, Italian, German, Spanish, Polish, Japanese. If you loved the first game, this is more of the same. More puzzles, more story, more Oscar complaining. It's not revolutionary. It doesn't need to be.

Fans of Kate's story should continue with Syberia 3 Deluxe Edition. If you crave more epic journeys, check out Dreamfall: The Longest Journey.
