Combat is turn-based. You can shove a goblin off a cliff. Honestly? That never gets old. The world reacts to everything - what you wear, who you kiss, which gods you insult. You can talk to animals. You can romance a bear. Not gonna lie, the bear thing is weird.
Character creation is deep. Races, classes, backgrounds - you can spend hours here. I spent two hours making a half-orc druid. Worth it. The story branches so much that two players will have completely different games. For a different kind of challenge, try Gothic 3: Complete Enhanced Edition.
