Senran Kagura Shinovi Versus Gameplay

This is a third-person action brawler with hack-and-slash combat. You control a unique ninja, each with their own weapon and backstory. The arenas are large and open – plenty of room to pull off acrobatic combos. You unlock new techniques by leveling up. Trust me on this: learn to dodge early.

The story follows three rival schools: Hanzo (good ninjas), Hebijo (bad ninjas), and Gessen (rogue ninjas). You pick a campaign and fight through stages. Between battles, there are visual novel-style cutscenes. It's silly. It's over the top. I died. A lot. Sometimes you just stand there and stare at the chaos unfolding around you.

There's also a multiplayer mode for deathmatches and item collection. You can play as any unlocked character. If you enjoyed Senran Kagura: Estival Versus or Senran Kagura Burst Re:Newal, this one fits right in. Available in English and Japanese.
