It's turn-based, but don't let the pace fool you. Each move can make or break your mission. You manage the Avenger - your mobile base - researching tech, building rooms, and scanning for contacts. Then you drop into the field for tactical combat.

Sometimes you will fail. Soldiers die. It happens. Five distinct soldier classes give you real choices. A Grenadier can shred cover. A Sniper picks off targets from across the map. Want a Specialist who hacks enemy robots? Go for it. Just remember - soldiers can die permanently. I learned that the hard way.

Randomly generated maps keep you guessing. One mission you're raiding a warehouse. The next, you're extracting a VIP from a city square. And the mod support? Players have created entire campaign overhauls. Available in English, Polish, German and other languages.

XCOM: Enemy Unknown started this story. The Bureau: XCOM Declassified Complete offered a different take. But XCOM 2 Digital Deluxe Edition refines the formula into something special.
