What Makes Sacred 2: Gold Edition Tick

Six character classes. That's your first big choice. Seraphim, Dark Elf, High Elf, Dryad, Inquisitor, or the hulking Temple Guardian? Each plays completely different. You'll swing swords, blow stuff up with magic, or mix both. The combat feels weighty. Enemies don't just fall over.

Two campaigns split the story - light versus shadow. Questlines branch depending on who you serve. Side quests are everywhere. You'll find a guy who lost his goat, a tower full of undead, a hidden dragon nest. Easy? Not really. Honor system tracks your alignment. Kill too many innocents? The world reacts.

Multiplayer co-op works. You and three buddies tear through dungeons. Or duel each other in PvP. The world is persistent-ish. Portals and mounts - horses, dragons, griffons - get you around fast. Lesson learned: always carry a spare sword. I died. A lot. If you finish everything, Sacred 3 Complete Edition continues the chaos.
