How Viking: Battle for Asgard Plays

Combat is brutal. You hack, you slash, you die. I died. A lot. But you can also be sneaky - stealth kills thin out patrols before the big fights. Massive battles with hundreds of enemies look and feel epic. The scenery helps. Snow-capped mountains, burning villages - it's a good-looking game for its time.

You explore a world split into three regions. Liberate villages, recruit allies, build an army. Your choices matter. Help a farmer, and he'll fight for you later. Ignore him? Yeah, that happens. The RTS-style battle commands let you direct troops while fighting yourself.
