How Stronghold Warlords Plays

This isn't just about building walls. You recruit samurai, archers, and fire lancers. Deploy burning oxen as siege weapons. Yeah, that happens. One stray flame and your own fort goes up - I died. A lot.

The ruler system is the real twist. Different warlords control territories across the map. Defeat them to claim bonuses - extra troops, unique resources, trade goods. But keeping them loyal? Not easy. You issue edicts, spend special points, and pray they don't rebel mid-battle.

Sometimes you just stand there and stare at your economy. Is my farm producing enough rice? Why is the treasury empty again? A happy villager pays taxes. An unhappy one? They leave. Or worse, they revolt. Honest? Managing villagers is harder than fighting Mongols.
