SaGa Frontier Remastered Gameplay and Features

You pick one of eight protagonists. Each has a completely different starting point and goal. One wants to conquer the universe, another just wants to find her father. The combat is turn-based with a five-member party. But here's the kicker - your health is measured in LP (Life Points). Run out? Your character is out until you rest. I died. A lot. Especially early on when I didn't understand LP management.

The world is open and non-linear. You can pretty much go anywhere from the start. Want to tackle a high-level dungeon? Go for it. You'll probably get wrecked, but that's part of the fun. Honestly, the freedom is refreshing. The remaster also adds a new scenario with Fuse, an interplanetary lawman. It ties the stories together.
