The combat is real-time, fluid, and relentless. You control Zack directly in 3D environments, slashing through Shinra troops and monsters alike. The Materia system lets you equip up to six orbs for spells, summons, and stat boosts - or fuse them together for something nastier. Died more times than I'd like to admit experimenting with bad combos.
