Batora Lost Haven blends hack-and-slash with twin-stick shooting. You control Avril from an isometric perspective. The twist? You have two health bars: physical and mental. Lose both, and it's game over. So you need to switch between body mode (for physical attacks) and mind mode (for ranged or psychic attacks). Trust me, you'll be toggling constantly.

Your choices shape the story. Not in a 'every decision matters' way, but in a 'you chose to spare that alien, now it helps you' way. Easy? Not really. Sometimes you just stand there and stare at the screen. Yeah, that happens.

The visuals are retro sci-fi, like a 50s comic book. Colorful planets, weird creatures. It's a single-player adventure, so no co-op. Available in English, Polish, German and other languages. If you like this style, check out Bastion. And if you want to go rogue, explore other games.
