Wanted Dead

Wanted: Dead is a dynamic action game bordering on slashers and shooters. The production was developed by Soleil studio, and its release was handled by 110 Industries. The project was supervised by, among others, Hiroaki Matsui and Yoshifuru Okamoto, who previously co-created the cult Ninja Gaiden series.

The plot

Wanted: Dead takes us on a journey to a futuristic version of Hong Kong. The main protagonist of the game is Lieutenant Hannah Stone, at the head of the so-called Zombie Squad, a team operating above the law, which is not afraid of any dangers.

Mechanics

In Wanted: Dead we observe the action from a third-person perspective (TPP). During the game we flash through locations and eliminate hordes of opponents.

Clashes are extremely dynamic, and we can send enemies to the sand with both katana and firearms. Lieutenant Stone uses all the tools of murder with speed, grace and precision that would be the envy of the film John Wick. During the brutal (the protagonist's sword can easily cut off the limbs of her adversaries) clashes, the key to success is primarily dexterity and the ability to skillfully combine attacks into spectacular combinations; nothing stands in the way of first "softening" the opponent with a katana, and then killing him with an accurate shot to the head (or a whole series). On our way stand not only people, but also powerful fighting machines, the elimination of which poses a much greater challenge for us.

In breaks from completing missions and slaughtering opponents, we end up at headquarters, where Lieutenant Stone can rest, eat and drink, thus earning special bonuses.

Technical issues

The graphic design of the game Wanted: Dead presents a decent level. In particular, the animations of attacks can be liked, as well as the effect of slowing down time accompanying the most spectacular actions.
