How Battlefield 4 Plays

The single-player campaign puts you in the boots of Sergeant Recker. You fight through a war-torn world using a ton of weapons and vehicles. Tanks, boats, helicopters - you name it. The Frostbite engine makes everything destructible. Walls crumble. Cover vanishes. You have to keep moving.

You can customize your loadout between missions. Pick your gun, attachments, and gear. The game also has a minimap, compass, and health meter. Not gonna lie - learning to read those symbols takes time. Blue is ally, green is squad, orange is enemy. Easy? Not really. But you'll get it.

The missions take you through urban streets, naval battles, and even a forest. Each level feels different. Sometimes you just stand there and stare at the destruction. It's that detailed.
