How SimRail Plays

You drive trains. Real ones. From a modern electric unit zipping at 200 km/h to a steam locomotive chugging through the countryside. The physics feel right - heavy, sluggish, powerful. You manage the throttle, brakes, and sometimes the radio. Trust me, overspeeding into a station ends badly. I died. A lot.

But driving is only half the fun. As a dispatcher, you sit in a control room and manage signals, switches, and train movements across the map. One wrong switch and two trains meet. Not literally - the game simulation stops that - but delays pile up. Can you keep the schedule? Honestly? Good luck. Multiplayer lets you team up with real people. One drives, another dispatches.
