How Tails of Iron 2 Plays
Combat is all about timing. Dodge, parry, execute. One wrong move and you're dead. Trust me on this. You hunt massive beasts for rare materials, upgrade your gear at the smithy, and build up your settlement to unlock better tools. The hand-drawn art is gorgeous - snow-covered ruins, crumbling battlefields, and the occasional giant frog that will wreck you if you're not paying attention.
Honestly? It's harder than the first game. Tails of Iron was tough, but this one turns the dial to eleven. You'll die. A lot. But each death teaches you something. The game is narrated by Doug Cockle (yes, Geralt himself), which gives the whole thing a dark fairy-tale feel. If you love punishing combat in atmospheric worlds, you might also enjoy Song of Iron.
