You guide Lana through 2.5D environments that shift perspective for a more cinematic feel. The world is hand-painted, full of color even when things get dark. You'll cross frozen peaks, dive into deep oceans, and crawl through forgotten ruins. Easy? Not really. The game tests your timing, your observation, and your patience when Mui doesn't listen.

Puzzles are environmental. You look at a gap, a lever, a moving platform, and figure out how Lana and Mui can work together. Mui can reach places Lana can't, and Lana can push things Mui can't. Coordination is the whole deal. Trust me on this - you'll stare at some puzzles longer than you expect.

Stealth plays a bigger role here. Enemies patrol, and you can't fight them. You watch patterns, hold your breath, and move when they turn away. Sometimes you just stand there and wait. The game rewards patience.

Story is told without words. Characters speak an alien language, and you read emotions through body language and music. Takeshi Furukawa's soundtrack does a lot of the heavy lifting. It can go from quiet and peaceful to tense and urgent in seconds.
