How Desynced Plays

You start with nothing but a damaged ship and a drone swarm. Mine raw materials, build refineries, and chain production lines. Your AI handler ELAINE offers guidance, but the real puzzle is logistics. Drones replace belts, so you plan pickup points and delivery routes instead of conveyor spaghetti. Easy? Not really.

As your base expands, you need more power, more storage, and better tech. The research tree unlocks upgrades, new buildings, and advanced drone scripts. Want full control? Use drag-and-drop scripting to customize behavior. Prefer simplicity? Stick with configurable parameters. Both work. One lets you forget a drone exists. The other lets you micromanage every flight path. I died. A lot.

Then the local fauna shows up. Your outpost becomes a target. Defenses aren't optional - you build walls and turrets before "later" becomes "too late." Sometimes you just stand there and stare at the attack wave coming.

The game supports singleplayer and online multiplayer with co-op. Modding works through Steam Workshop. Available in English, Polish, German, Spanish, French, Czech, Portuguese-Brazil, Russian, Japanese, Korean, Simplified Chinese, and Traditional Chinese.

If you enjoyed Automation Empire or Techtonica, this is the same itch but with drones instead of belts. Desynced asks you to keep a fragile colony running long enough to fix your ship - and it's harder than it sounds.
