Sudden Strike 5 drops you into large WWII battlefields. You watch from above. Zoom in to see individual soldiers or pull back for the big picture. The game gives you over 300 units – 190+ vehicles and 110 infantry types. Sherman tanks, T-34s, Messerschmitt Bf 109s. You name it. The key? You earn prestige points during missions and spend them to buy reinforcements. Running low on ammo? Buy more. Lost a push? Call in armor. Yeah, that happens.

Capturing key locations changes the fight. Field headquarters, supply depots, train stations – hold them and you get advantages. You can scout ahead, sabotage enemy supply lines, blow up bridges, or take alternative routes. Easy? Not really. The AI reacts. One wrong move and your flank collapses.

You also pick a commander before each mission. Offensive, defensive, or tactical – each brings unique abilities. Smoke grenades for cover. Artillery accuracy bonuses. Pick what fits your style. The campaign spans 25 missions across the Western Front, Eastern Front, North Africa, and Italy, including Monte Cassino. For fans of large-scale division combat, it echoes elements seen in Steel Division 2 Total Conflict Edition. Available in English, French, German, Spanish, Polish, Russian, Hungarian, Japanese, Chinese Simplified with English and German audio.
