How Twisted Tower Plays
Twisted Tower is a first-person action game from Atmos Games, the studio behind Neversong and Pinstripe. You play Tiny, an eighteen-year-old who enters a deadly game show to win Charlotte and a cash prize. Combat sits next to environmental puzzles. You climb floor after floor, shoot nightmare toys, and use movement tricks to cross rooms that want you dead.
You fight marionettes, zombies, and clowns with an axe, a revolver, a sniper rifle, and a double-barrel shotgun. Cash collected in the tower upgrades that arsenal. Close fights get messy. You reload behind a sofa while a puppet charges from the left. Honestly? The shotgun helps, but ammo still runs out. You will mess up. Mr. Twister designed the show so panic costs you health and time. The camera stays in first person while you swap between melee swings and long shots across a salon.
You climb through fancy salons, horror-house rooms, and floating snow islands. Each floor looks different and asks for a different kind of travel. You run on walls. You yank a chain to a far ledge and hope it holds. Stairs keep shifting under your feet, so a safe path one second becomes a fall the next if you hesitate. Environmental puzzles sit next to traps on every floor. You spend the last nerve on a locked door and hope the room is worth it. The look is retro. Creators drew from BioShock and Willy Wonka's chocolate factory.
The year is 1922, and Tiny wants Charlotte more than sense. She is engaged to Preston, a bully, so Tiny treats the tower like a public proposal with a cash prize attached. Reach the top and you get the girl plus ten million dollars. Fail and the toys keep you. The campaign stays single-player. Available in English, with English audio. The show never feels kind.
