Game Description

You die in your sleep. That's how Child of Light starts. Aurora wakes up in Lemuria, a magical land where the light has been stolen by the Queen of Night. Your only companion is a firefly named Igniculus - he heals, he slows enemies, and he opens chests you can't reach.

Child of Light Gameplay

This is a side-scrolling platformer with turn-based combat. You control Aurora directly while Igniculus helps out. Swap between characters? Yeah, that happens. Sneak up on enemies for a surprise attack, but watch your back - they can do the same to you.

The art style is hand-painted watercolor. Honestly? Sometimes you just stop and stare at the backgrounds. The game also supports local co-op with a friend controlling Igniculus. Not gonna lie, it makes the game even better.
