What is Far Cry
Far Cry is a first-person shooter from 2004 that changed open-world shooters. You explore massive jungles with a draw distance over 800 meters. The AI is aggressive. Make noise and they'll swarm you. Seriously, these guys work together. They'll flank, call for backup, and hunt you down like a dog.
Weapons vary. Sniper rifle for distance. Shotgun for close encounters. Sometimes you just stand there and stare at the horizon. It's that pretty. Honest.
The story follows Jack Carver uncovering a conspiracy involving genetic experiments. There's also multiplayer - Deathmatch, Capture the Flag, the works. Yeah, that happens.
