Inside Husk

Husk takes inspiration from the greats. Silent Hill. Alan Wake. The foggy streets of Shivercliff feel like a character themselves. You'll search for clues, solve puzzles, and fight when you have to. Combat is basic - melee weapons, a pistol, some bosses. Not gonna lie, the shooting feels a bit clunky sometimes. But that adds to the tension.

You explore at your own pace. Some doors are locked. Some lead to nightmares. The soundtrack by Arkadiusz Reikowski does heavy lifting here. It creeps under your skin. I died. A lot. Especially when I ran out of ammo and had to swing a pipe at something that definitely didn't care. Honestly? The atmosphere is the real star here.

Available in English, French, German, Spanish, Polish, Czech, Portuguese, and Russian. Audio is English. If you liked Darkwood or Distrust, you might feel at home here.

Not every horror game needs a big budget. Husk proves that. It's rough around the edges but full of heart. If you crave foggy towns and missing family stories, give Husk a shot. It's free, after all.
