What is Hitman: Absolution?

It's the fifth main game in the series, made by IO Interactive. You play Agent 47, a cloned assassin with a barcode on his head. The Glacier 2 engine powers the visuals. The story picks up after Blood Money - familiar faces return. New ones show up too. Sometimes you just stand there and stare at the crowd, wondering who's armed.

Stealth is the name of the game. You blend in. You wear disguises. You choke out guards from behind. When things go south - and they will - you can use instinct shooting or grab cover. Easy? Not really. But that's what makes it fun.

There's a Purist mode that removes the HUD. Pure torture. Some people love it. You can also try the Hitman: Sniper Challenge for extra practice. And if you haven't played Hitman: Blood Money, it's a free download too.

Available in English, French, Italian, German, Spanish, Russian, Polish, and Turkish - with audio in most of those.

You explore neighborhoods, mansions, and more. Each level is a sandbox. Multiple paths, multiple solutions. You can go loud or stay quiet. I died. A lot. But every failure teaches you something new.
