What Makes Shadow Tactics Tick

It's a real-time tactics game with a pause function. You control five characters at once, either together or split up. Each character has unique moves - Hayato the ninja can throw shurikens and climb walls. Mugen the samurai can fight multiple enemies at once but can't sneak. Aiko the geisha distracts guards with a dance. Yuki sets traps. Takuma snipes from afar. You switch between them on the fly. Sometimes you just stand there and stare at a patrol pattern for five minutes. Not gonna lie, I've done that.

The levels are sandboxes. Multiple paths, hiding spots, and ways to eliminate targets. You can go full stealth or cause chaos. Each mission feels like a puzzle. How do you get past that guard? What if you use Aiko's distraction while Yuki sneaks around? Trust me on this - trying different approaches never gets old. If you enjoyed Mark of the Ninja: Remastered or Shadwen, you'll find familiar thrills here.
