How FTL Plays

FTL: Faster Than Light Advanced Edition blends real-time combat with strategic planning. You control a single ship with multiple systems: weapons, shields, engines, oxygen, and more. Each system can be damaged independently. One hit to life support? Better fix it fast or your crew suffocates.

Every sector is procedurally generated. You might find a peaceful trading post or a trap. Honest? I once walked into a giant alien spider nest. Lost half my crew. Worth it? Not really.

Crew members have skills. They level up in combat, repair, and piloting. If they die, they're gone forever. Permadeath means you care. Each death is a lesson. Sometimes you just stand there and stare at the wreckage.
