Inside Trek to Yomi
You step into the shoes of Hiroki. Simple enough. Then the screen goes monochrome, and suddenly you're in a black-and-white samurai film. The combat is fast and unforgiving. Parry, dodge, strike. Miss a timing and you're dead. I died. A lot.
The visuals are something else. Dynamic camera angles shift as you move, making every fight feel cinematic. You travel through forests, burning villages, and dark caves. Not gonna lie, some of those enemies are creepy. Especially the supernatural ones.
The story follows Hiroki's journey to protect his city and honor his master. Easy? Not really. Fans of Toukiden: Kiwami will find a similar Japanese world here, though Trek to Yomi is more about personal drama than monster hunting.
