How Monster Hunter Stories 2 Plays

Combat is turn-based. Think strategy, not button mashing. Each monster you befriend has unique stats and abilities. You can swap them mid-battle. I died a lot figuring out the right combos. But when you pull off a Kinship skill with your dragon? Pure satisfaction. Exploration is open and colorful. You run through forests, deserts, and caves. There are quests everywhere. Some are story-driven, others are just for loot. You also craft gear from materials you collect. Honestly? The armor crafting alone kept me busy for hours. If you want more action, try Monster Hunter World for a different hunting experience. Trust me on this.

The game has a single-player campaign and co-op mode. In co-op, you can team up with friends or use the matchmaking labels to find players with your style. After a hunt, you rate your partners.
