How The Last Spell Plays
The day and night cycle is everything. During the day you manage your fortress, heal heroes, and gather resources. Repair walls. Set traps. Prepare. At night, the monsters come. You position your squad and fight using turn-based combat. One wrong move and a hero is down. I died. A lot.
Character progression has no rigid classes. Mix and match skills however you want. Want a mage who swings a greatsword? Go for it. Maps and enemies are procedurally generated, so each run feels different. Honest? You never know what the mist will throw at you next.
The pixel art is dark and moody. The soundtrack by Rémi Gallégo is pure synth gold. Available in English, French, German, Spanish, Portuguese-Brazil, Russian, Ukrainian, Japanese, Korean, Simplified Chinese, and Traditional Chinese.
