How Planet Coaster 2 Plays

Building coasters is the main draw. You place each piece of track by hand. One wrong angle and your coaster turns into a vomit machine. Not gonna lie - I spent hours just tweaking one drop. Water rides add a new layer. Wave pools, slides, lazy rivers - they all need lifeguards and changing rooms. Guests care about that stuff.

Themes are back. Pirate, Western, Viking, Mythology. Thousands of pieces let you make something nobody else has. You shape terrain too. Dig a lake. Raise a mountain. Whatever works.

Management is deeper now. Heat maps show where guests are unhappy. You see exactly who needs a bench or a bathroom. Hire mechanics to fix rides. Hire entertainers to boost mood. Easy? Not really. You balance all that with your budget. Thrilling rides bring cash, but amenities eat into profits.

Play solo in sandbox mode - no pressure, just build. Or jump into franchise mode with friends. Co-op works across platforms. Share your best coaster or whole park on the workshop. Walk through other people's creations in first person. It's wild seeing what others build.
