How Grow Up Plays

Grow Up is the sequel to Grow Home, and it doubles down on everything that made the first game special. You control each of BUD's hands separately to climb anything. Rocks, trees, floating islands - if you can reach it, you can grab it. I died. A lot. Especially when learning to glide.

The planet is stuffed with secrets. Ship parts to collect, plant samples to scan, and weird creatures to stare at. Sometimes you just stand there and stare. BUD has new moves too - rolling lets you bounce across terrain, gliding opens up shortcuts. The world feels alive with vibrant colors and minimalist beauty.

If you enjoyed the pure exploration of Grow Home, this is more of the same - and then some. It's curious, creative, and surprisingly chill. Grow Up is a breath of fresh air in a genre full of stress and timers.
