How Get Even Plays
You play as Cole Black, a detective with a foggy past. Armed with a virtual reality headset and a smartphone, you explore the asylum and your own memories. Honestly? You'll spend more time scanning walls for clues than shooting. But when combat kicks in, the CornerGun lets you fire around corners without exposing yourself. I died. A lot.
The game rewards patience. Each clue you find changes the world. The lighting shifts. Doors open to new areas. Sometimes you just stand there and stare at the wallpaper, looking for hidden messages. The Auro-3D sound makes every creak feel real. Trust me on this.
Fans of investigative horror like Condemned: Criminal Origins will feel right at home. If you prefer a more linear horror, Daylight offers a similar atmosphere. Available in English, French, Italian, German, Spanish, Polish, Portuguese-Brazil, Russian (audio in English only).
This isn't a fast-paced shooter. It's a slow, psychological puzzle that messes with your head. If you enjoy solving mysteries and don't mind a creepy atmosphere, Get Even is worth your time.
