You start with nothing but empty land. Zone it, road it, zone some more. Before you know it, little houses pop up, then stores, then skyscrapers. SimCity 4 Deluxe Edition takes everything from the earlier games and adds regional play. Your cities don't exist in a vacuum anymore. Connect them. Build a region. Watch your Sims commute. Easy? How SimCity 4 Plays

You zone residential, commercial, and industrial areas. You lay down power lines, water pipes, and roads. SimCity 4 adds a day-night cycle - your skyline looks gorgeous at night. Honestly? I spent hours just zooming in and watching cars get stuck in traffic.

The real kicker is the region system. Build multiple cities and connect them. Your Sims live in one city, work in another. Trade resources, manage pollution, deal with crime. It's deep. Available in English, French, Italian, German, Spanish, Polish, Danish, Dutch, Portuguese, Norwegian, Swedish, and Finnish.

Disasters? Oh yeah. Godzilla, tornadoes, earthquakes. Your perfect city can crumble in seconds. I died. A lot. Well, my city died. But that's the fun - rebuild and do better next time.
