Inside Othercide - Tactics and Sacrifice

This is not a game where you breeze through. Othercide forces hard choices. You have three Daughter classes: the ranged Soulslinger, the tanky Shieldbearer, and the melee Blademaster. Each has a role, but none are safe. Lose a unit, and she's gone forever. You can level up survivors by absorbing memories from fallen enemies - but you have to kill them first. Easy? Not really.

The turn-based combat lets you interrupt enemy actions. Time your attacks right, and you can cancel their moves. It feels tactical in a way that reminds me of Iratus Lord of the Dead - another game about commanding dark forces. But here, you're the good guys. Mostly.

Between battles, you return to a hub city. Survivors gather, you heal, you prepare. The black and white art style with red accents is gorgeous. Trust me on this - you'll stop mid-mission just to admire the visuals.
