Two protagonists, one long ride

This time you get two playable heroes: Ichiban Kasuga and Kazuma Kiryu. The story takes place after the events of the seventh game, and you quickly find yourself pulled into a chain of unexpected situations. Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth runs on an improved version of the Dragon Engine. You get high-quality visuals and a more advanced physics engine that plays a real role during fights. On the audio side, you can choose Japanese voices or switch to English dubbing. And because part of the game takes place in Hawaii, you’ll naturally bump into more English-speaking characters - sometimes leading to funny communication friction.

Honolulu is described as the largest and most varied map in the series so far, with different districts, parks, multi-floor shopping centers, hotels, and tourist beaches. You also see weather shifts like sudden rain, and you can experience different times of day with sunrise and sunset vibes. It’s a nice change of pace from back alleys and neon streets - though you’ll still find plenty of trouble.
