How GOD FORSAKEN Plays
You pick a class - warrior, hunter, warlock, or necromancer - and jump straight into the fight. The camera sits above you, isometric style. Enemies come in waves. Lots of them. You move, you swing, you cast, you pray the cooldowns line up.
Here's the thing: darkness isn't just scenery. It slowly eats your mental health and makes enemies hit harder. Your only counter? Light a torch. That's it. But it works. Sometimes you just stand there and stare at the dark, wondering if you remembered to bring enough torches. Trust me on this.
Your build matters too. Each class has a talent tree, but you can use any weapon and the same starting abilities regardless of class. Mix and match. There are rune-like skill extensions inspired by Path of Exile that let you shape abilities your way. Want to play an aggressive warlock with a big sword? Go for it. Might work. Might not. That's the fun part.
