What Makes Soulmask Tick

The masks are the heart of everything. Each one changes your appearance and gives you different abilities. Go invisible. Improve your archery. Dominate defeated enemies and bring them into your tribe. I died a lot figuring out which mask worked best for my playstyle.

Combat isn't just personal anymore. You can take direct control of your tribesmen. Turn them into hunters, stealth fighters, or heavy warriors. Set them to craft, farm, or gather. Your village becomes a real community, not just a loot stash. If you liked HumanitZ for its deeper survival systems, this takes that idea further.

Exploring the world matters too. Jungles, deserts, snow peaks, volcano interiors - each area has its own threats and resources. The game draws inspiration from Maya, Inca, and Aztec civilizations. That gives the ruins and artifacts a specific feel. Not gonna lie, I spent hours just wandering through temple complexes.
