About Axiom Verge

The map is huge. Corridors twist back on themselves. You find a new gun and suddenly three new paths open up. That's the beauty of this game. Honestly, you'll backtrack a ton. But every time you revisit an area with a new ability, something clicks. A door opens. A secret reveals itself. You feel smart.

Combat is punchy. You get a spread gun early on. Later, a laser that can phase through walls. There's even a remote drone that lets you explore tight spaces. Enemies hit hard. I died. A lot. You learn each enemy's pattern or you get wrecked. Simple as that.
